The Staylit® Difference

Staylit worry free lights are engineered to stay lit even if one or more bulbs are loose, twisted, or broken. Standard light sets will remain lit if a bulb burns out. But, if a bulb becomes loose, twisted or broken, all the bulbs within its circuit will go out. Staylit lighting uses patented technology to regulate voltage by inserting a computer chip in every socket. This chip regulates the flow of electricity to each bulb and completes the circuit even when bulbs are loose, twisted, or broken.

Warranty: Santa's Own trees featuring Staylit lights will have a 5 year light warranty; the first 2 years part repair or replacement, the 3 remaining years are replacement light sets. The warranty does not cover bulbs that burn out.

Question: What happens if a bulb becomes loose, removed, twisted, burnt out, or broken?

Answer: The light set will remain lit.

Question: Does the tree come with replacement bulbs?

Answer: Yes, if additional bulbs are needed, contact Santa’s Own.

Question: What if a customer wants a tree with Staylit lights and it has Santa’s Own standard lights?

Answer: We do not have Staylit lights for resale at this time. If a customer is insistent on a style with the Staylit lighting system, its possible your buyer could order it for the following year.

Question:  How can I tell the difference between a Santa’s Own Perfect-Lit® tree and a Staylit tree?

Answer:  The easiest way is to pull a bulb out of its socket.  If the remaining lights stay-lit, you guessed it-it’s Staylit set.
